‘Everday Push’

This story was inspired by me from the outside looking in. The life I lived felt normal to me but I knew it was inspirational to others, including those that travel or have traveled the same path. It started with an idea to show a friend how I load my kayak by myself and it grew into a full blown film. I pitched the idea to a videographer that was a total stranger at an event. His name was Rob Devore and he accepted the project.  Together we filmed many hours over six months before Rob worked his editing magic. From there we made the deadline for the Reel Paddling Film Festival in 2014 and won both Best Documentary and Viewers Choice. It took a lot of time and some minor headaches but when it was all said and done, we were nothing but smiles and had something cool to look back on years down the road.

Enjoy!!!
